16. Liberty cap / Psilocybe semilanceata
The Liberty cap mushroom belongs to the Strophariaceae family. The mushroom contains the psychoactive compound psilocin. Its possession and cultivation is illegal in most countries. The plates are ascending, the stalk is bare and the trama is disc-shaped. It leads a saprotrophic lifestyle, and is native mainly to Europe and North America. Its psychoactive effects are similar to LSD, although much weaker, with side effects including dilated pupils, palpitations and hypersensitive reflexes. The first recorded case of liberty cap mushroom poisoning occurred in 1799, when an English family ingested mushrooms they had picked in Green Park.

16. Hegyes Badargomba / Psilocybe semilanceata
A hegyes badargomba a harmatgomba félék családjába tartozik. A gomba pszichoaktív hatású pszilocibint tartalmaz. A birtoklása, és termesztése illegális a legtöbb országban illegális. A lemezei felkanyarodók, a tönkje csupasz, trámája lemezes. Szaprotróf életmódot folytat. Legfőképpen Európában és Észak-Amerikában őshonos. Pszichoaktív hatása hasonlít az LSD-hez, bár annál jóval gyengébb, a mellékhatások közé tartoznak a pupillák tágulása, szívdobogás illetve a túl érzékeny reflexek. Az első jegyzett badargomba mérgezésre 1799-ben került sor, mikor egy angol család a Green Parkban szedett gombát elfogyasztották.
