The color of the Common Crumblecap, or Coprinellus disseminatus, is whitish when young, then purplish-brown, and then it eventually turns brown with a whitish edge. The mushroom is a clump-growing species, very common in Europe and North America. It grows from April to November, on dead deciduous wood and soil near wood, in clusters or in groups. It’s a very common species in our country. It is edible but it has no nutritional value and it doesn’t taste good. This mushroom also lives a saprotrophic lifestyle. 21. Sereges tintagomba / Coprinellus disseminatus
A Sereges tintagomba, azaz Coprinellus disseminatus, fiatalon fehéres, majd lilás-barnás, majd végül fehéres szélű barnává válik. A szár csupasz, a tráma korongolt és a kalapja púpos. A Sereges tintagomba gomba csoportosan termő faj, Európában és Észak-Amerikában is igen elterjedt. Áprilistól novemberig korhadó fán és fa melletti talajon igen gyakori faj. Ehető, de nincs tápértéke és nem jó az íze. Ez a gomba szaprotróf életmódot folytat.
